The Mutual Building – Christman Company Headquarters
The Sustainable Buildings Industry Council (SBIC) recently contributed a case study on the award winning, high-performance Christman Headquarters to the Whole Building Building Design Guide (WBDG). A recipient of SBIC's 2008 Beyond Green High-Performance Building Awards, the Christman Headquarters case study details project goals, the design and construction process, product and system choices, energy and indoor environmental considerations, and project results.

Clayco
Inc.: Raised Floor Workplace
Lawrence J. Chapman, Jr., principal of Clayco Inc., has compiled a cost comparison between a raised floor office building and a conventional office building. According to Clayco Inc., their experience with raised floor systems has been more economical in both initial construction and operating costs.

Massachusetts
Institute of Technology: HVAC Systems Analysis
Over the past year, Vanderweil Engineers and the Stata Center Design Team have explored various options for the HVAC system in the Stata Center. Based on the results of this exploration, the Design Team proposed an HVAC system based on the displacement ventilation concept, which distributes conditioned air to occupied spaces through an accessible raised floor.
