City of Houston Permitting Center
The analysis and comparison of renovating an old warehouse and of new construction on the
existing site indicated that a rehabilitation would come out to about 75 percent of the cost of starting from scratch.
Engberg Anderson Design Partnership Headquarters
This project consisted of a complete renovation of the entire 5th floor of the existing warehouse into architectural offices. With sustainability as the primary goal, Engberg Anderson incorporated daylighting, an energy efficient chiller/HVAC system, and Tate’s UFAD into their design.
Christman Headquarters
Workspaces in the Christman Headquarters were designed for flexibility, adaptability, collaboration and teamwork. The design reused 92% of existing walls, roof and floors, and much of the company's former office furnishings. Based on price and performance, Tate's access floor and underfloor air distribution systems have been installed on floors 2 through 6.
BP WOW
Energy industry leader BP is understandably proud of its 10,000-square-foot space located in its Westlake office building in Houston. Dubbed BP WOW (Working Our Way), it was created as a living laboratory of workspace design, a glimpse into BP's next generation of office space.
Snead Building
Searching for a new home, Q4 became aware that the Snead Building, a 1910 reinforced concrete building on the National Historic Register, was being renovated and chose to join the project team in the Phase 1 renovation of the Louisville Glassworks development.

The air and wire/cable in this building is run underneath an raised access floor, rather than above the ceiling. If conventional design and construction methods had been used, the work above the dropped ceiling would have been far more extensive.
